About your role

As a Video Producer you will help shape how Fairphone shows up on screen. You will work within our in-house Studio team to craft high-quality video content that brings our products, mission and stories to life. Your work will range from fast-paced social edits to polished hero films for campaigns.
The role focuses on video editing and motion design, supported by hands-on cinematography and photography. You will collaborate closely with our Creative Director, Art Director and fellow Studio creatives, as well as our Brand, Marketing and Impact teams. You’ll help translate ideas into engaging visual narratives that connect with our community and reflect Fairphone’s values.
Success in this role means delivering thoughtful, well-crafted videos that feel distinctly Fairphone, contributing to a smooth and collaborative production process and staying curious about new techniques and tools that can elevate our storytelling.

Key Responsibilities & Objectives

Key responsibilities:

Edit a wide range of video content, including product explainers, campaign films, interviews, behind-the-scenes stories and social snippets
Create motion graphics and animations that support key messages and elevate our creatives
Participate in shoots by supporting cinematography, lighting setups and capturing additional footage or photography when needed
Translate creative briefs into clear video concepts and narrative structures
Prepare edits across multiple formats, platforms and aspect ratios and languages
Work closely with the Studio team on planning, pre-production, filming and post-production
Manage and organise project files, footage and asset libraries for smooth workflow and future re-use
Give and receive constructive feedback, contribute ideas during creative sessions and support continuous development of our visual language
Ensure final deliverables are well-crafted, on brand and on schedule

Key Objectives:

Video Quality and Consistency: Deliver creative video content that strengthens our brand presence across all channels.
Storytelling Impact: Produce work that supports core Brand and Marketing objectives and resonates with our audience.
Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with Studio, Brand, Marketing and other teams to bring concepts to life and manage feedback constructively.
Process Improvement: Help refine our post-production workflows, templates and project organisation to increase efficiency.

Core Activities

Hands-on editing and motion design work in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
Reviewing project plans, responding to feedback and refining edits
Preparing cut-downs and adaptations for a wide range of platforms and channels
Supporting on set during studio or location shoots
Participating in creative reviews, brainstorms and planning sessions
Organising footage, project files and exports for seamless handover and archiving

Your Skills & Experience

3 to 5 years experience in video filming, editing and motion design, ideally within an in-house studio, production company, agency or content-driven brand
Strong skills in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects; experience with DaVinci Resolve is a plus
A good eye for cinematography and photography
Solid understanding of pacing, storytelling and sound design
Experience working across different social platforms and their video formats
Strong communication skills in English; Dutch, German or French are a plus
Comfortable working with macOS, Google Workspace and project management tools
