For this internship, we are looking for candidates who are enrolled in a Higher Educational Institute (within the NL), and already living in the Netherlands.

About your role

Fairphone’s sales strategy is to successfully sell its products to consumers, companies and organizations who are keen to support our movement towards a fairer electronics value chain. This not only means sales through Fairphone’s own web shop but also cooperating with like-minded partners in the industry, such as operators, distributors, retailers/e-tailers: this is what our Partner Sales Team and Channel Marketing Team focuses on. As a Channel Marketing Intern, your role is to support the Team in marketing activities set up, execution and evaluation. This role is the perfect blend between marketing and sales.

Key learning goals and what you will be working on

Working cross-functional with a diversity of teams,
Sharpening your analytical skills by translating sales data into valuable insights,
Working independently on and taking ownership of projects,
Learning more about Fairphone and specifically the marketing-driven side of sales via our commercial partners.

Key Responsibilities & Objectives

Evaluate promotional campaigns by working together with our data analyst,
Work closely with our brand team to develop assets and with our external partner for execution,
Assist our Channel Marketing team in developing and managing marketing merchandise and device stock,
Managing and maintaining our digital asset platform,
Send test devices to (potential) partners.

Your Skills & Experience

Currently enrolled as a student in a higher educational institute in the Netherlands in a relevant study program such as Business Administration, Marketing, Communication or similar.
You are at ease with data and have the analytical skills to turn it into insights.
You are hands-on, organized and have great planning skills.
You have excellent English written and verbal communication skills. German or French is a plus.
You have practical knowledge of tools such as MS Excel and PowerPoint.
You are proactive, have a strong sense of initiative, and take ownership.
You are a reliable team player with excellent communication skills.
You are motivated and love the fast-paced work environment of a start-up/scale-up company.
You embrace diversity in thoughts, opinions, and backgrounds.
