Location: Amsterdam, The Netherlands (All candidates must have a valid authorisation to perform an internship in the Netherlands for the entire duration of the position)

About your role

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our dynamic and international team in Amsterdam. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-growing scale-up and contribute directly to our mission.

Working closely with the Finance team, you will support us in various daily financial and accounting tasks, helping to ensure the smooth operation of our business. Your work will provide you with a deep understanding of how a mission-driven company manages its finances to achieve both commercial success and social impact.

Key Responsibilities & Objectives

Assist with daily bookkeeping and financial administration tasks.
Support the monthly and quarterly closing processes.
Assist with invoice processing and expense management.
Support the team with ad-hoc financial analysis and projects.
Help document and improve financial processes.

Your Skills & Experience

You are a student currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
You have a strong interest in sustainability, technology, and Fairphone's mission.
You possess excellent analytical skills and have a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
You are proficient in Microsoft Excel and have a good understanding of financial principles.
You are a proactive, hands-on, and curious individual who is eager to learn.
You have strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
