About your role

Are you passionate about people and eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, purpose-driven environment? As a People Team Intern, you'll play a key role in supporting our HR operations, with a strong focus on Dutch labour law, HR administration, and process improvement. Working closely with our People & Legal team, you'll help ensure our practices are smooth, compliant, and continuously improving. This is a unique opportunity to dive into the world of People & Culture, contribute to meaningful projects, and grow your HR expertise.

Key Responsibilities & Objectives
  • Support the People & Culture team with HR administrative tasks, including contract management and maintaining personnel files.

  • Assist in ensuring compliance with Dutch labour law and internal policies.

  • Support data entry and reporting in our HRIS system (Personio).

  • Participate in internal audits and help keep HR documentation up-to-date, GDPR-proof, and compliant.

  • Respond to employee requests and provide support with documentation such as employer declarations, L&D agreements, etc.

  • Support in initiatives related to employee growth and performance.

  • Assist with posting vacancies, scheduling interviews, and ensuring smooth onboarding experiences for new hires.

  • Take part in ongoing HR initiatives, such as process improvements and culture-building projects.

Your Skills & Experience
  • Educational background in Human Resources, (Dutch) Labour Law, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Understanding of Dutch employment law and HR compliance.

  • Strong administrative and organizational skills with high attention to detail.

  • Proactive and eager to learn in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

  • Good communication skills in English (Dutch is also a plus) 

  • Discreet and trustworthy when handling sensitive information.
