About your role
As our Project Manager Intern within the Business Infrastructure team, you will have a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to projects that span across multiple departments. We are particularly seeking support in shaping our Cross-Area/Production Forecast project, which will help bring the necessary clarity for a successful kickoff. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineering student or someone with a technical mindset (who is not seeking a programming role) to gain hands-on project management experience. You will assist in defining project scope, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring smooth execution. While the Cross-Area/Production Forecast project is a key focus, there may also be opportunities to contribute to other priorities within the team. You will collaborate closely with team members and stakeholders, gaining insight into how a social enterprise scales and functions.
Key learning goals and what you will be working on
  • Play a key role in defining the scope, requirements, and deliverables for the Cross-Area/Production Forecast project to ensure it's ready for kickoff.

  • Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of this project, and potentially other business infrastructure initiatives.

  • Develop an understanding of cross-departmental project dependencies, particularly between technical, operational, and commercial teams, and assist in facilitating smooth collaboration.

  • Contribute to the documentation and reporting of project progress, ensuring clarity and transparency for all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities & Objectives
  • Assist in stakeholder management and requirements gathering for the Cross-Area/Production Forecast project.

  • Support the development of a clear project plan, including timelines, milestones, and resource considerations.

  • Help coordinate project meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and documenting minutes and action items.

  • Track project progress, assist in identifying potential risks or roadblocks (especially from a technical or process perspective), and escalate issues as appropriate.

  • Facilitate communication between project team members and different departments involved in forecasting and production planning.

  • Assist in creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.

Your Skills & Experience

Must-have:

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Engineering, Business Administration with a technical affinity, Project Management, or a related field.

  • A genuine interest in project management and improving business processes, particularly in a manufacturing or tech-related environment (no programming skills required).

  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage tasks, structure information, and meet deadlines.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Nice-to-have:

  • An analytical mindset with the ability to understand and help simplify complex processes.

  • A proactive and collaborative approach, with an eagerness to learn and take initiative in a non-programming, mission-focused internship.

  • Familiarity with working with macOS and Google Workspace. Basecamp knowledge is a plus.
